About this Workshop

What is the secret of success today? How do you land your dream job, get promoted faster, raise capital from investors or simply create unique opportunities you didn’t expect? Does it come from attending prestigious colleges or graduate schools? Does it come from taking big risks? What are the simple actions we can take to succeed today?
Koester found a surprising pattern when he studied the 4,100 alumni of the Forbes 30 under 30 — and will showcase a unique approach each of us can take to achieve success faster and more reliably than ever before. And he’s taken more than 150 of his students and alums through a similar process to incredible results. Whether you’re interested in startups or not, this session is perfect for anyone hoping to land their dream job, an entrepreneur looking to get press or attract the attention of investors, or someone who hopes to launch a business at some point in the future.
You will leave this working having:
  • Understood what 84% of the 30 under 30 alums all had in common (hint: it’s not what you’d expect)
  • Learned why borrowing credibility from others no longer works;
  • Discussed the nine ways people create their own credibility; and
  • Developed your own “creator” biography to use on LinkedIn and your website.
Attendees will be eligible for an exclusive 3-part “Bridge Course” series exclusively for Georgetown alums afterwards where they can work with Koester to create their own plan for standing out. Registration is free, but required. Light snacks will be served.
