The Red House is hiring new Project Associates for the Summer 2018 and Academic Year 2018-19 terms. Project Associates work on a number of curricular and co-curricular pilots for the Designing the Future(s) Initiative (futures.georgetown.edu). PAs are assigned to one or two projects and will assist Red House staff with tasks such as:
-Developing new credit-bearing courses
-Evaluating Red House pilots through surveys and focus groups
-Planning events such as the Red House Dinner Series and student design sessions
-Working with faculty to design new core curriculum experiments
-Marketing new programs to students and alumni
-Producing written and visual reports
-Designing and launching new websites for various projects and initiatives
This is a paid position. Project Associates are expected to work 8-10 hours per week during the school year, and at least 20 hours per week during the summer. While we have previously had opportunities for PAs to live at the Red House, this unfortunately will not be possible for the upcoming summer and school year.
For best consideration, please apply by Tuesday, March 20. Students selected to interview for this position will be notified by Friday, March 23. Questions can be directed to Samantha Levine, Red House Project Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
